TO THE PARENTS AND GUARDIANS OF THE STUDENTS

"No school however good and no teacher however well meaning can hope to achieve without the backing and co-operation of a good home."

  • 1. Parents and guardians are earnestly requested:
    (a) To take an active interest in their children's Progress in studies throughout the school year and not merely just before the final examination. They should sign their children's monthly record and examination reports and initial other remarks in their school calendar as an indication that they have read them carefully and will at tent to weakness, if any without delay.
    (b) To see that their children devote sufficient time to study at home every day.
  • 2. Parents/ Guardians should see that their children don no have money or valuable articles with them.
  • 3. A student who breaks school rules or commit any act of indiscipline may be fined or otherwise punished at the discretion of the Principal. A student may be sent home during class hours for failure to comply with school regulations.
  • 4. Any communication(request or complaint) made by parents or guardians should be addressed to the Principal and not to the teachers. Mention should be made of the child's name and class.
  • 5. Parents and Guardians are welcome to consult the Principal and Teachers regarding their wards whenever necessary. Teachers can be met, with the prior permission of the Principal , not during their class hours, but during their free periods or during the break: hence as far as possible appointment with teachers should be arranged before hand.
  • 6. Parents and Guardians are not allowed to see their children during class hours. Permission is to be obtained fro the Principal in unavoidable cases.
  • 7. On all school working days, parents are completely responsible for the children's behaviour and safety outside the school compound before 8.00 a.m. and after 1.30 p.m.
