Dear Bosconian Families,
Thank u for visiting our website, and welcome to Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Silapathar.
We call our community the “Bosconian Family” because we want our school family to be an extension of your family. We want to serve you in times of joy, happiness and triumph, but also in times of challenge, grief and struggle. Academic learning and growth are our bottom line, yet we also understand that educating students means being attentive to the “whole child” and caring about their social and emotional well-being.
Our teachers and staff love to be a part of the learning and growth during their crucial years of development. We respect the parents and guardians of our students and they are a big part of who we are.
Our website is a valuable source of information. Every message that we send out to families can be found on our website.
Don Bosco Higher Secondary School is a place of learning, belonging, growth and support for students, families and community. Thank you for being part of the School. Let us know how we can make your experience in the school better.
Sincerely,
Fr Augustine

Dear parents, teachers, and students, I extend to you all a warm welcome to Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Website. I hope that this initiation to website will assist in enhancing the school culture furthering the school’s growth and evolution, enabling it to interface with the networked world for efficiency and effictiveness.
Inspired by the teachings Jesus and our Patron SFS and with our Motto, “IN – TO LEARN, OUT – TO SERVE” we aim at the integral development of each student.
The school has clear vision and mission objective. Keeping this in mind the school cares for the individual development of each and every student. We accord prime importance to the behavioral discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students.
The reputation, the school has acquired and established over these years is due to the dedication and selfless commitment of teachers, supporting staff and the students. I appreciate the dedication and the selfless service of the teachers of the past and the present and wish them all peace and prosperity for their contribution to the noble task of spreading education and its manifest qualities, aims and objectives.
As the Principal of the school, I feel honoured and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every day is an opportunity to learn and discover.
